Comprised of staff, teachers and parents, ELAC reviews and addresses the needs of our English language-learning students. Contact the Principal to learn more.
- Site Council
Site Council is an elected group of parents, teachers and staff. The Site Council is responsible for allocating federal and state money to school programs, develops and refines the school plan each year, sets goals for student achievement and monitors progress toward those goals. Elections are held in the Fall.
- Parents on Campus
Parents are welcome and appreciated at Mission Hill! One way to help is to be present during the morning break and lunchtime. Contact the office for more information.

You can also help with: fundraising, campus beautification, hospitality, chaperoning dances, assisting in the library, assisting with yearbook, helping with the Spring Fair, Advising student created clubs, helping with lunchtime intramurals, and helping in classrooms. We are looking for help managing the volunteer list via "signup genius" (no meeting attendance needed), getting information to the local papers about school activities, and other PTA roles. Help us continue to keep Mission Hill a positive and safe place for our children to thrive. To assist us in having a safe and fun lunchtime and brunch at Mission Hill we would like to have parents sign up for a weekly time to come and walk the track, check out/check in playground equipment and help supervise Mission Hill students. Ideally we would like parents to commit to coming the same day on a weekly basis for the entire year. We would like parents who plan on supervising during the brunch to arrive at 9:35 am and plan on leaving around 10 am. For lunchtime we would like parents to arrive at 12:05 pm and plan on leaving around 12:50 pm. This should give parents time to check in at the office before heading out to supervise the students. This year's brunch and lunch schedules are: Brunch 9:39 to 9:55 and lunch 12:13 to 12.47. This is a great way to get to know other students and be a part of the Mission Hill Community.

See the attached flyer for info on the Goodwill Donation Drive. A Goodwill truck will be parked in front of Mission Hill for the weekend and we will fill that truck with our items in exchange for a donation to MHMS PTA. Start saving your items to help fill the truck. The flyer has info about what is accepted (clothing, books, electronics, computer items, household goods, etc.) and what is not accepted (large furniture, paint or cleaning supplies, large appliances, etc.)
